Well I guess I'm averaging about 3 months a post. Not exactly 'blogging' but not too bad. I decided to post these shots from most recent to the ones taken at the beginning of the summer. I'm not sure why. Made sense to me.
You know it's officially 'fall' in our house when Maeve dons her new Vikings gear. These ensembles come courtesy of Auntie Katie and Gotcha.
(I'd like to think this next group of photographs don't look any thing like me because they are so terrible but Maeve's expressions are fantastic and really capture her hilarious personality these days so I've decided to put aside my vanity and post them anyways.)
("ok that's it show's over...")
Maeve is really into hiding these days. I know this is probably a natural stage for toddlers but she is an 'extreme' hider. Either she hides in a very obvious place and yells "Maeve...hiding...closet come find me" or she hides for a long period of time in a sneaky spot and can hear you looking for her but won't say a word.
It's cute while sort of giving you a small heart attack at the same time...

(never one to miss a phone call...)
Mom and dad came over on Saturday to help finish the last of the gardening. Maeve was especially helpful...
hiding again
hiding again
see what I mean...she's good and patient too...
Thanks goodness for fall and all of those darn cute beanie hats (thanks to Trish for this one). It's not really even that cold here yet but I couldn't resist dressing her up in her '18 month' clothes.
Maeve's new party trick. She actually says "pickin' my nose" (in a really nasally voice) while she's doing it. We made the mistake of laughing when she does it because it's hard not to but this lovely gesture is not quite as funny when she does it to perfect strangers in the grocery store when we're not looking...
Labour Day weekend in Ignace with "Unca Mawk"
(i love it when nana watches me because she always loses track of her wine...)

We have an annual date in Ignace with Carter (and now Olivia!). It involves a little story swaping, some toy "sharing" and of course a photo shoot. I wonder if the photo shoot will ever get easier?...
( I have no idea why this is underlined but I can't seem to fix it)
